What I'm looking for

I’m looking for remote-ready roles where I can architect secure IoT/edge platforms on AWS & Kubernetes, lead end-to-end delivery, and improve observability, fleet automation, and production incident response in cross-timezone teams.

I’m an IoT & Edge Platform Engineer with 10+ years designing and scaling cloud-native IoT platforms in regulated healthcare and enterprise environments. I focus on device lifecycle management, edge-to-cloud integration, fleet operations, and container security on AWS and Kubernetes.

In my current role as Staff Software Engineer — IoT Platform at GE Healthcare, I’ve architected a RAG-based observability assistant indexing OpenTelemetry traces, Grafana logs, and operational runbooks—helping engineers diagnose production incidents through natural language. I also reduced edge gateway provisioning latency from 30s to under 4s by enforcing least-privilege IAM and mTLS with X.509 device authentication over MQTT on K3s/Kubernetes.

I’m deeply hands-on with reliability and security at scale: I’ve hardened 10–15 container images using multi-stage Dockerfiles with distroless finals, enforced CI/CD scan gates with Twistlock, and blocked vulnerable/unsigned images using cosign signature verification and Kyverno admission policies. I’ve also led 10 engineers end-to-end across backend and edge layers, driving design reviews and delivery for gateway onboarding, container security, and edge-to-cloud integration features.

Previously, as Senior Software Engineer — IoT & Edge (Remote) at JLL Technologies, I operated a production Smart Building IoT platform managing 500+ edge gateways and 100+ sensors per site publishing MQTT telemetry at 200+ messages/sec. I delivered RAG and agent-based LLM workflows for JLL GPT, optimized event/infra delivery with Terraform and automation, and improved incident detection speed by 30% through centralized observability.

Staff Software Engineer

GE Healthcare

Sep 2025 - Present (8 months)

Architecting a RAG-based observability assistant indexing OpenTelemetry traces, Grafana logs, and operational runbooks to enable natural-language incident diagnosis in regulated healthcare. Optimized edge gateway provisioning latency from 30s to under 4s and reduced manual provisioning steps from 10–12 to 1 while hardening IoT edge container security and leading 10 engineers across backend and edg

JT

Senior Software Engineer

JLL Technologies

Jul 2023 - Sep 2025 (2 years 2 months)

Built backend and IoT platform components across US/EU time zones using async workflows, including RAG and agent-based LLM workflows for natural-language querying of internal documents and business metrics. Operated a production smart building IoT platform managing 500+ edge gateways with 100+ sensors per site (200+ messages/sec across 9–10 topics), reducing AWS infrastructure deployment time by 4
