Akil Williams

I am a passionate graphic designer and UX/UI specialist with a strong foundation in visual storytelling and user-centered design. My journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from Midwestern State University, where I honed my skills in various design software and developed a keen eye for aesthetics. Recently, I completed the Google UX/UI Design Certificate, further enhancing my ability to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Throughout my career, I have worked on diverse projects, from freelance photography to product design. As a Graphic Designer at the Bruce and Graciela Redwine Student Wellness Center, I conducted surveys to identify areas for improvement and designed logos and promotional materials that resonated with the community. My role at Stonewall International allowed me to elevate brand identity through cohesive print designs and commercial ads, showcasing my ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking.

My freelance work has provided me with the opportunity to explore various facets of design, including mockups for mobile applications and event photography. I am committed to continuous learning and adapting to new challenges, and I am excited to contribute my skills to innovative projects that prioritize user experience and visual impact.
