Akash Pargaonkar

I am an aspiring data scientist and AI/ML engineer with hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Power BI, and core machine learning techniques. I focus on data-driven problem solving and building end-to-end ML pipelines that move from preprocessing to deployment.

During internships I worked as an API Developer learning IBM API Connect and DataPower, and as a Data Science consultant where I cleaned and transformed client data, applied feature engineering, automated pipelines, and deployed models via Flask APIs.

I have completed multiple domain projects—banking risk, insurance cost prediction, bike rentals, FIFA20 player clustering, and ITSM forecasting—demonstrating strong model performance (e.g., Gini 0.9904, R² ~0.89, high classification accuracy/F1 in ITSM POC).

I pair a foundation in statistics and time-series forecasting with cloud and data engineering skills (AWS, Azure ML, ETL, S3, Lambda, Glue). I am eager to contribute to real-world projects and collaborate with teams that value production-ready ML and continuous learning.
