Akash Gupta

As a Senior Data Scientist working in the Generative AI space, I design and deploy large-scale machine learning systems that power real-world applications in healthcare, finance, and enterprise automation. My recent work includes building LLM-powered solutions like appeal letter generation, policy chatbots, and next-best-action prediction engines — leveraging tools such as Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Hugging Face Transformers, Agentic AI, MCP, RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, PEFT, LoRA, FAISS, DSPy and multiple Generative AI framework to deliver scalable and reliable AI infrastructure.

With over 5 years of industry experience, I bring a strong foundation in Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI. I’ve led end-to-end product development for complex ML workflows, working closely with domain experts and engineering teams. Outside of work, I’m an active contributor to the ML community.

I’ve ranked in the Top 3 of 65+ machine learning hackathons, hold the Grandmaster title on MachineHack, and am a Kaggle Expert. I’ve also published research in the area of image captioning and have received multiple certifications from Microsoft, IBM, Google, and Stanford.
