AJ Lospalluto
@ajlospalluto
Dedicated Special Olympics Swimming Coach focused on inclusive adaptive sport for individuals with disabilities.
What I'm looking for
I’m an energetic, dedicated college student with a passion for making a positive impact working with individuals with disabilities in the Adaptive Sport and Recreation field. I bring “empathy, patience, and adaptability” through recreation-based activities.
I’ve supported inclusive programs through roles such as Special Olympics Swimming Coach and Day Service Associate, where I’m committed to respectful coaching and reliable, person-centered support. I also work in inclusion-focused and program aide positions to help participants thrive.
Beyond direct support, I lead by example through community involvement—founding and serving as Diversability Club Founder & President, plus serving in other student leadership roles. This experience strengthens my ability to organize, communicate, and advocate for accessibility.
I’m also trained with “Safety-Care” (Safety-Care Specialist) and keep my focus on safety, consistency, and meaningful engagement. I’m motivated to grow further in adaptive recreation and inclusive sports.
