Delivered the health section of the Safeway mobile app and architected a real-time personalization platform processing 10 TB of data for 1.8M users. Designed a rules-based orchestration engine using Java SpEL and React query-builder, replacing a commercial rule engine and a third-party vendor goals engine.

Architected and owned a Java Spring Boot content-delivery API on AWS ECS and S3 sustaining 5,700 RPS at peak load. Engineered dynamic throttling via AWS AppConfig, automated CI/CD pipelines with CDK v2, and established production observability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Synthetic Canaries.

Led architecture and delivery of an 8-application Fee Billing suite processing 44M records/month and generating $1.6B in annual revenue. Designed greenfield ASP.NET Core microservices with streaming ingestion and read-through caching, and drove transformation from semiannual manual releases to continuous delivery via Jenkins CI/CD.

Promoted to lead the AumentumTax Assessment Administration module, the platform's most architecturally complex area. Performance-tuned a critical PII-sensitive subsystem using dotTrace profiling and T-SQL query redesign, and delivered production-ready features on a two-week sprint cadence with zero regression impact.

Led development of major platform modules for a large-scale multi-tenant SaaS product used by property management companies nationwide across 9+ years of continuous delivery. Introduced Protobuf.NET binary serialization to replace legacy payload formats, improving API throughput performance.

Reduced Medical Transcription response time by 50% through targeted performance optimization on a $10M web-based eRIS/PACS/Billing platform serving 144 multi-site imaging centers. Eliminated database deadlocks through redesigned schema and query strategies, reducing nightly claim batch runtime by 50% and claim regeneration time from 5 minutes to 3 seconds.
