At Barclays, I designed and built the decommission of a legacy reporting database ahead of a cloud migration. I consolidated 100 outputs into 60 short scripts, removed 200,000 lines of code, and reduced manual runs by 40 hours a month.
I build the SQL, pipelines, datasets, and data models behind management information and KPIs, then create Tableau and Power BI dashboards for reporting. I also wrote automated reconciliation and validation checks to catch missing values, duplicates, anomalies, and incorrect records before they reach reports.
I came into data after finding a long-standing fault in two department-wide reports that had been overlooked. Since then, I’ve brought data quality, lineage, and controls into my work, including leading a cross-departmental SOX remediation programme and analysing a £4bn loan portfolio to identify £10m of exposure.
