What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to apply my biology knowledge in clinical or research settings, with a focus on community health and patient support.

I am a recent Bachelor of Arts graduate in Biology from the University of Chicago, with a strong foundation in research and a commitment to human welfare. My experience includes working as a Student Research Intern at Wickrema Lab, where I performed various laboratory assays and co-authored a scientific paper currently under review. I thrive in collaborative environments, regularly presenting data at lab meetings and engaging with peers to enhance our collective understanding of blood cell development.

In addition to my research experience, I have volunteered in clinical settings, including a phlebotomy lab and La Rabida Children’s Hospital, where I provided support and comfort to patients. My role as a Community Service Executive with MEDLIFE allowed me to organize healthcare support events for underserved populations, reinforcing my dedication to making a positive impact in the community. I am eager to leverage my scientific knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute effectively in healthcare environments.
