I built and deployed Rest Countries API, a production-ready React application for browsing and exploring country data. I refactored its architecture with reusable components, custom hooks, and centralized state management, and added 65 automated tests with Vitest and React Testing Library.
For my Weather App, I used modular JavaScript and REST APIs to build a responsive weather application. I processed a city dataset with Python and Pandas for local search, reducing unnecessary external API requests by approximately 80%.
I also built ARON, a browser networking and resource-loading engine from scratch, with HTTP/1.1 handling, content decoding, redirects, and caching. For OpenSeadragon, I contributed HTTP status propagation for failed resource loading, including 404 responses, through GitHub Pull Request #2972.
