What I'm looking for

I'm looking for opportunities to build AI, computer vision, and data-driven software systems while contributing to software quality, automated refactoring, developer tooling, and technically challenging engineering work.

I'm completing an MSc in Software Engineering at the University of Iceland, where my thesis focuses on a refactoring catalogue and tooling extensions for the R programming language.

At Visk, I built Python and OpenCV image-processing pipelines to analyze illumination degradation, environmental noise, and visual-quality deterioration. I also developed automated experimentation tooling and reports for algorithm evaluation and optimization.

I've delivered production mobile and full-stack applications at Coder Crew and DSME Global Links, integrating backend services, databases, APIs, cloud messaging, CI/CD workflows, and client-facing features.

I'm also the founder and lead developer of HuddleHop, a digital hitchhiking platform for Iceland. My work spans machine learning, computer vision, software quality, automated refactoring, and data-driven systems.
