At the Egyptian Space Agency, I head the Attitude and Orbit Control Division and work in the Egyptian National Space Program. I was AOCS team leader for NexSat-1, launched in February 2024, and ADCS team leader for NarssCubeSat-1,2, launched in 2019.
Across satellite projects, I’ve designed attitude determination and control algorithms and developed satellite sensor, actuator, dynamics, and disturbance simulation models. I’ve also supported verification, commissioning, in-orbit telemetry analysis, and flight software development using C++ and Matlab/Simulink.
As Project Manager of the 1st Egyptian Universities Cube Satellite Project, EUS1, I led teams from 16 Egyptian universities in building satellite subsystems. I hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Al-Azhar University, with research on attitude and orbit control algorithms for Earth-observation satellite swarms.
