What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can design reliable systems and reusable abstractions, apply Functional Programming ideas, and help product teams turn complex requirements into high-quality features for distributed systems.

I’m a software engineering student focused on building reliable backend systems and discovering reusable code abstractions. I’m especially drawn to Functional Programming (FP) principles so I can write concise, elegant code for large-scale distributed systems.

In my Engineering & Product Intern role at Katalisia, I collaborated with product managers to translate the “big picture” of content monetization into clear technical direction. I handled data extraction and transformation from YouTube APIs, creating reusable logic for diverse creator metrics.

I also helped dissect dashboard design to discover common abstractions, aiming for consistent and reliable user experience for analytics. Through UX discussions, I ensured technical backend feasibility stayed aligned with final product designs.

My projects reflect how I like to work: Spendify—where I built modular backend systems, scalable MySQL models for transaction logs, and RESTful APIs; plus AI-hr and AI Nutrition Planner, where I engineered pipelines and dashboards with Python, NLP, and data-centric logic to automate screening and support health-driven meal recommendations.
