At BCT Consulting (onsite at Morgan Stanley), I built Java and Scala services for a Kafka-driven bitemporal data platform, tuning PostgreSQL and MongoDB queries for sub-second latency. I also designed an entitlements self-service platform whose automated verification cut permission-approval turnaround from 3 days to under 4 hours.
I scoped an LLM to parse access justifications while keeping permission decisions deterministic and unit-tested. Previously, at Libsys Ltd., I architected Java Spring Boot microservices for TargetX CRM and contributed to query optimization and a Redis caching effort that lifted API throughput by 35%.
