At Zebra Technologies, I took Android 17 Early Access Program bring-up from zero to building, merging, flashing, and booting on a Zebra QCM 6690. I also resolved an AVB init_boot hash-descriptor mismatch that forced orange boot state and broke fastboot lock, restoring a green boot chain.
For Zebra’s PoE-powered Android devices, I delivered IEEE 802.3at LLDP power negotiation, raising the switch-allocated budget from 15.4 W to 30 W and unblocking a 5,000-unit customer deployment. I ported lldpd into the AOSP vendor partition and reduced the downstream patch against upstream by approximately 94%.
Previously, at Elektrobit Automotive GmbH, I restructured an Android Automotive keyboard into two build variants and developed backend integration with an in-vehicle voice assistant. I also built Zemma, an offline on-device LLM assistant proof of concept, and benchmarked LLM function calling against a deterministic intent router.
