ACHRAF BEN KORDA

I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in CAD modeling, FEA and CFD, focused on designing safe, manufacturable mechanical systems. I hold an engineering degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering and practical internships in industrial settings.

During internships at OCP Jorf Lasfar I led design and analysis work for an ammonia storage tank, performing thermo-structural calculations to ASME VIII / API 650 and developing 3D SolidWorks models to verify and optimize structural integrity. I also designed and optimized fluid distribution for a phosphoric acid concentration heat exchanger using ANSYS Fluent and Simulink.

My technical strengths include structural optimization, thermomechanical modeling, heat transfer analysis and maintenance engineering, supported by proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, ANSYS Workbench and Fluent. I apply FMEA/AMDEC and material selection best practices to improve safety and reliability.

I am committed to sustainable, efficient engineering solutions and enjoy transforming concepts into practical, manufacturable designs. I communicate professionally in English and French and am a native Arabic speaker.
