Abraham Sunday

I am an expert in Sign Language Interpretation and teaching, driven by advocacy that makes the world inclusive for people who can’t hear, speak, or see. I stand as a champion for belonging in society—breaking the gap and barriers with clear, respectful communication.

Across my experience, I have delivered both educational and professional support roles. As a Computer Instructor, I taught the practical and theoretical fundamentals of computers, worked with different software packages, and supported software installation, strengthening my ability to teach effectively and adapt to learners’ needs.

In Special Education, I educated with Sign Language and served as a Sign Language Teacher at Oharisi Secondary School Special Education Centre (2021–2025). I also taught Deafblind inclusion at Lionheart Ability Leaders Foundation and interpreted for the just signed into law of the students law loan in the House of Representatives (November 2022).

I also bring administrative strength from my Confidential Secretary role (typing, filing in courts, arranging meetings, preparing memos, and creating reports) and verification discipline as a Verification Officer (authenticating applicants’ ownership and supporting repayment follow-ups). I am a member of professional bodies including the Association of Sign Language Interpreter of Nigeria and the Association of Deaf Advocate of Nigeria.
