Abhishek Nagarkoti

I am an aspiring Data Scientist with hands-on experience building machine learning and deep learning models, and a strong foundation in computer science engineering. I have developed CNN-based image classification models and regression models to predict insurance costs, focusing on model robustness and improved accuracy.

During a Data Scientist internship at Cognify (Apr 2023–Jun 2025) I created 10+ interactive visualizations, analyzed datasets of over 50,000 rows, and improved reporting efficiency by 25%. I also implemented ML algorithms such as decision trees and logistic regression achieving 80%+ prediction accuracy.

My technical toolkit includes Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn), Scikit-learn, TensorFlow (CNN, RNN), SQL, Power BI, and development tools like Jupyter, Git, and VSCode. I complement technical skills with teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

I continually learn new tools and hold certifications in Python for Data Science, Microsoft Data Visualization, and Azure Data Scientist Associate. I am motivated to apply data-driven solutions that deliver business impact and clear insights.
