Abhishek Kanojia
@abhishekkanojia2
Senior Software Engineer at Papershift GmbH who stabilized a critical Rails module for ~200k active users and built a production RAG system.
IndiaWhat I'm looking for
At Papershift GmbH, I redesigned and rewrote a critical Rails backend module that was causing production instability, then safely rolled it out to ~200k active users.
I also maintained versioned, backward-compatible REST APIs and streamlined 15+ critical subscription workflows. By optimizing caching, I reduced Memcached memory utilization by 50%.
For Bigfuture Pty, I built end-to-end product features across React and Rails, and implemented a production RAG system using the company’s knowledge base. I tested response quality and iterated on retrieval strategy based on user feedback.
Earlier at Vinsol, I owned backend features from requirements through production release and contributed to frontend work using Vue.js. I’ve also authored and maintained multiple Ruby gems and contributed to Rails libraries.
