Abhijeet Singh

I designed and developed a production-ready website for St. Norbert Children’s Centre while working with the City of Winnipeg, translating staff requirements into responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript pages.

I worked directly with the Executive Director and Assistant Director to plan the website’s look, needs, vision, and functionality. I gathered feedback, created reusable UI components, and tested and debugged layout, navigation, and compatibility issues before deployment.

In a C++/Qt/SQL library application project, I designed an optimized database for multiple user and inventory types and built the application UI and functionality. I also led team meetings, distributed tasks based on strengths, set deadlines, and conducted systematic testing and debugging.

I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science in Carleton University’s Software Engineering Honours Stream, with a minor in Statistics and co-op option. I bring hands-on experience in Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, SQL, AWS concepts, GitHub, and statistical tools including R, SAS, and IBM SPSS.
