What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a SOC/monitoring-focused role where I can help with security monitoring, support incident response, and grow into cloud security—while continuing hands-on web and vulnerability testing.

I’m a cybersecurity enthusiast building practical strength in vulnerability assessment, web application security testing, and enterprise security operations. I work with tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Nuclei, and I use Kali Linux and Metasploit for lab-based exploitation to strengthen both offensive and defensive thinking.

In my current role, I’m supporting enterprise security projects, including Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) implementations. Previously, at a banking environment, I observed senior engineers monitoring network activity and security dashboards, gaining exposure to SIEM workflows and assisting supervised web security testing.

I also develop capability through hands-on practice—performing penetration testing on Kioptrix (achieving remote code execution in a lab) and completing 10+ PortSwigger web security labs, submitting vulnerability reports for structured experience. I’m currently pursuing the Google Professional Cybersecurity Certificate while staying committed to SOC analysis, security monitoring, and cloud security growth.
