At Diglossia, I evaluate Arabic language proficiency and support the assessment of bilingual learners in the UAE. I also edit Arabic-language assessment content and review examination materials for clarity and linguistic accuracy at ALEF.
Across my editorial work, I’ve proofread and edited academic research papers, studies, and narrative texts for linguistic and stylistic quality. I’ve also written and edited literary and language-related articles, educational materials, fiction, and dialogue.
I’ve published more than 30 articles on social, political, and linguistic topics on digital platforms. My books include the novel Sabdalla, shortlisted for the 2026 Katara Prize for Arabic Novel, and co-authored stories and anthologies for learners of Arabic.
I teach Arabic to native and non-native speakers and have taught at schools and colleges in Türkiye, the UAE, and Syria. I’m a doctoral researcher in Arabic linguistics at the University of Aleppo, where I also earned my MA in Arabic Language (Linguistics).
