Abdul-Mumin Zakaria

I am a motivated and ambitious Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) graduate specializing in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. With a graduation date set for August 2024, I have developed a strong academic foundation complemented by practical internship experience as a Procurement Assistant at Tamale Teaching Hospital. My role involved assisting in the development and review of procurement plans, managing supplier relationships, and supporting inventory control activities. I am passionate about entrepreneurship and the agricultural value chain, committed to contributing to sustainable procurement practices.

During my internship, I honed my skills in negotiation, compliance with procurement regulations, and maintaining accurate procurement records. I actively collaborated with my team to streamline operations and develop cost-saving strategies. My participation in initiatives like the Kosmos Innovation Centre AgriTech Classic Challenge and the Agricultural Innovation for Africa Conference has further enriched my understanding of innovative solutions within the agricultural sector. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences in a dynamic role within Olam Agri’s Graduate Trainee Program.
