I’m a BSc Bioinformatics graduate and currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer, building AI-driven product initiatives—from data pipeline to deployment. I’m motivated by the intersection of computational methods and life sciences, with a focus on genomics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven healthcare.

Previously, I worked as a Data Scientist at Urban Unit Lahore, where I collected, cleaned, and validated large-scale datasets to support policy decision-making. I performed statistical trend and pattern analysis using Python and Excel, built forecasting-focused regression models, and created dashboards to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

My research and projects blend deep learning with practical deployment: I built a hybrid skin cancer diagnosis web app using CNNs (EfficientNetV2) with a Flask REST API, and developed real-time sign language recognition using CNN + MediaPipe with a Flutter frontend and Flask backend. I’ve also created a crop disease detection mobile app and other academic pipelines for classification and sequence analysis.

I bring hands-on NGS and bioinformatics tooling experience (NCBI, SRA, BioProject, and NGS pipelines like FastQC, BWA, SAMtools, and GATK). I’m especially energized by end-to-end work—preprocessing, feature extraction, model evaluation, and production-ready APIs—plus evidence-based decision support and strong teamwork with tight time management.
