Abbie Cassidy

I am a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 7.5 years of bedside nursing experience and a total of 12 years in the hospital setting. My expertise lies in postpartum obstetrics, where I have honed my skills in managing emergency situations such as maternal hemorrhage and newborn resuscitation. My commitment to patient care is complemented by my experience in nursing education, where I have taught Nursing Foundations and Women’s Health at Otterbein University, helping to shape the next generation of nurses.

Currently, I serve as a Childbirth Educator at OhioHealth, the hospital system with the highest volume of births in Central Ohio. In this role, I conduct in-hospital and virtual childbirth classes, empowering families from diverse backgrounds with the knowledge and skills they need for their birthing experiences. My journey in nursing has been driven by a passion for education and patient advocacy, and I am eager to continue making a positive impact in the field.
