At the University of Notre Dame, I study participation and political communication in Nepal’s 2025 Generation Z protest movement. I analyze public Instagram and TikTok posts using multilingual and multimodal methods, including human annotation, NLP classification, and topic modeling.
With the Space Technology for Earth Applications Project Group at SGAC, I contribute to a computational landslide inventory for Nepal. I develop workflows to extract events from multilingual news reports, validate geographic and temporal details, and verify records across sources.
In data engineering roles, I built Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines integrating ERP data, reducing manual effort by 50% while maintaining over 95% data consistency. I’ve also developed projects including a bilingual Nepali government-document Q&A system and an air-quality forecasting application.
