What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote job that I can do alongside my studies as an engineering student. I am more than willing to learn new skills to allow me to complete my job in which I will try my hardest to excel at.

I’m an Interior Design BA (Hons) student at De Montfort University, focused on creating design concepts with strong attention to detail. I’ve built transferable skills like time management, communication, and negotiation through my study and work experience.

Through my course work, I’ve developed practical software abilities by learning AutoCAD to produce floor plans and sections, then transferring those ideas into SketchUp to create 3D models. I also used Photoshop to render textures and develop a café space concept, strengthening my design and presentation mindset.

I’m proud of the design work I’ve completed, including projects such as a GP surgery, a recycling centre, and a ‘Museum of Bows’. Alongside this, I completed an Engineering Year Zero – Diploma, which reflects my motivation to explore technical and creative problem-solving.

Outside design studio tasks, I’ve worked in retail and hospitality (including Marriott Hotel and Constellations) and supported Al-Kidmah Foundation by answering calls and helping with administrative duties like planning donation campaigns and supporting charity events. I’m actively learning Mandarin (aiming for HSK level 2) while using English and Gujarati every day, and I’m excited to bring all of this into the workforce.
