I’m a Software Development Engineer 2 (Backend) focused on shipping reliable backend flows and microservices end-to-end. At Slice, I designed and developed onboarding orchestration from KYC data collection through post-onboarding async processes like auto approval, customer creation, savings setup, balance transfers, and UPI upgrades.
I integrated credit report APIs (CIBIL, CRIF, Equifax, Experian) and automated secure PDF generation and delivery using async workflows with service-worker architecture, RESTful services, and job queues. I also built an image compression worker to dynamically resize and optimize user images, reducing screen load times by 90% for bulk scenarios through caching and parallel processing.
I improve systems through observability and quality: I added circuit-breakers, metrics, and dashboards to reduce noise and strengthen on-call alerts, and I built comprehensive unit and end-to-end test suites with CI workflows. From DB migration work (Mongo Atlas to AWS RDS, 35% cost reduction) to owning multiple backend services throughout feature launches, I bring strong ownership and measurable outcomes.
