At mom.life, I owned Android engineering for a social app with 1M+ downloads and 60K monthly active users. I modernized its legacy codebase while continuing to ship features, including migrating core screens from MVP to MVVM/MVI.
I rebuilt the real-time messaging layer for private and group chats over MQTT, with reconnection, offline behavior, and Room caching. I also improved production performance, reducing slow cold starts from about 4% to 0.69%, and delivered UI and platform work across releases.
