I've mostly joined companies at their launch stage, which meant building fraud prevention infrastructure from scratch rather than working within an already established system — setting up transaction monitoring, designing risk-scoring logic, and running the full investigation cycle from alert to decision.

My work has focused on identifying and investigating fraud patterns: bonus abuse, multi-accounting, and connected-account schemes, using behavioral, payment, and device-based signals. I've also been involved in KYC/CDD processes, flagging suspicious or fraudulent documentation, and collaborating closely with Support and Payments teams on complex cases.

One highlight was helping stand up the risk infrastructure for an iGaming startup entering the Turkish market — building fraud alerts, risk-scoring tables, and case-handling processes before the product scaled its traffic, which helped keep financial losses under control from day one.

What I enjoy most is the early-stage part of the job: spotting a pattern before it becomes a recurring problem, and turning it into a rule or process the team can rely on going forward. I'm looking to bring that same approach to a company that's actively building or scaling its risk and fraud operations.
