Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Youth Program Manager to lead and develop innovative programs that empower young individuals. In this fully remote position, you will play a critical role in fostering engagement, facilitating personal growth, and creating opportunities for youth participation in meaningful activities.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate youth programs that align with organizational goals and address the needs of the community.
- Oversee program logistics, including recruitment, training, and support for volunteers and staff involved in program delivery.
- Establish partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance program outreach and impact.
- Monitor and assess program effectiveness through data analysis, feedback collection, and reporting.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance with funding requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events that promote youth engagement and leadership development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in program management, particularly in youth-focused initiatives.
- Strong understanding of youth development principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young individuals.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in grant writing and fundraising for youth programs.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for remote program delivery.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Zoom).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools to assess program outcomes effectively.
- Experience with social media and digital marketing strategies to promote programs.
