Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Wire Tempering Supervisor to lead and optimize our wire tempering processes in a fully remote setting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the tempering operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and implementing best practices to enhance production efficiency. Responsibilities
- Supervise the wire tempering team, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards
- Monitor and analyze tempering processes, making data-driven decisions to enhance overall efficiency and product quality
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, optimize workflows, and achieve production targets
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members to foster skill development and promote a culture of safety and excellence
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in wire tempering or a related field, with a proven track record of supervisory responsibilities
- Strong understanding of wire tempering processes, materials, and equipment
- Experience with quality control techniques and methodologies
- Proficient in data analysis and process optimization strategies
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a remote supervisory role, demonstrating effective team management in a virtual environment
- Familiarity with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
