Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Weblogic Consultant to join our team, responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of Weblogic environments. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to enhance application performance and ensure the reliability of middleware services, contributing to critical enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Weblogic environments to support enterprise applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing Weblogic configurations and recommend optimizations for improved efficiency.
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues in Weblogic server instances.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Weblogic with various application frameworks and databases.
- Provide guidance and support for troubleshooting complex technical issues within Weblogic environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Weblogic installations, configurations, and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience working with Oracle Weblogic Server in a consulting or engineering role.
- Strong understanding of Java EE applications and middleware technologies.
- Experience with deploying and managing applications in a Weblogic environment, including clustering and load balancing.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in Weblogic implementations.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and configuration management.
Preferred:
- Experience with integration of Weblogic with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Weblogic or related technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Oracle Weblogic Server administration and management.
- Familiarity with Java programming and enterprise application development.
- Understanding of database management systems, particularly Oracle Database.
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools for application servers.
