Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic logistics team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. - Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse safety protocols
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications
Preferred:
- Experience with lean warehousing principles and process optimization
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and data analysis tools
- Basic knowledge of supply chain logistics and transportation management
