Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Wafer Fabrication Manager to lead our state-of-the-art fabrication facility. This fully remote position is pivotal in driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet the evolving demands of our cutting-edge semiconductor technology. You will be responsible for overseeing fabrication operations, strategizing process improvements, and leading a team of skilled engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of wafer fabrication operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance yield and efficiency across fabrication lines
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with product development and market demands
- Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues and enhance throughput
- Oversee equipment maintenance and upgrades, ensuring a reliable manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing, with a track record of leadership in a production environment
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including photolithography, etching, and deposition techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decision-making
- Proven experience in process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with automation technologies and data analytics in semiconductor fabrication
- Familiarity with ISO and other regulatory standards relevant to semiconductor manufacturing
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in semiconductor fabrication equipment and processes
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., JMP, Minitab)
- Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety standards in semiconductor manufacturing
