Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Voice Engineer to join our dynamic telecommunications team. In this role, you will support the deployment and maintenance of voice communication systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and assisting in the enhancement of our voice infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of voice systems, including VoIP and PBX solutions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal operation
- Support end-users with voice-related inquiries and technical assistance
- Document technical processes and procedures for voice system management
- Participate in the testing and deployment of new voice features and upgrades
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in voice engineering or telecommunications
- Basic understanding of VoIP protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP) and telephony systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Cisco or Avaya systems
- Knowledge of call center technologies and features
- Relevant certifications in voice technologies (e.g., CCNA, Avaya Certified) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with VoIP and telephony systems
- Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations
- Experience with monitoring tools for voice systems
