Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cisco Voice Consultant to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) solutions for voice deployments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Conduct thorough assessments of current voice infrastructure and provide recommendations for enhancements and upgrades.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables for voice system implementations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex voice issues, utilizing tools such as Wireshark and Cisco Prime Collaboration Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop tailored voice solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Train and mentor team members and clients on Cisco voice technologies and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing Cisco voice solutions, including CUCM, Unity Connection, and Cisco Jabber.
- Strong understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP, and telephony protocols.
- Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration) are highly desirable.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cisco Contact Center solutions and integration with CRM systems.
- Familiarity with network design and configuration, including QoS for voice traffic.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Cisco voice technologies and solutions.
- Proficient in troubleshooting tools such as Cisco Prime Collaboration and Wireshark.
- Experience with voice gateways, analog devices, and endpoints.
