Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vocational Services Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional vocational services aimed at empowering individuals in their career journeys. Responsibilities
- Design and oversee vocational programs that align with industry standards and client needs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage a team of vocational counselors and trainers, providing leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Establish relationships with local employers and organizations to create job placement opportunities for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using data-driven metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the delivery of vocational services.
- Develop and manage budgets related to vocational programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Human Services, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in vocational services or related fields, with a track record of successful program management.
- Strong knowledge of employment trends and labor market dynamics.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, employers, and community organizations.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Familiarity with grant writing and funding acquisition.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data management and reporting tools, with the ability to analyze data to inform program decisions.
- Experience with CRM systems and client management software.
- Knowledge of job placement and career development software.
