Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Department Chair to support the leadership and operational excellence of our academic department at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Act as a liaison between the department and external stakeholders, representing the department's interests and advocating for its needs
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in an academic setting, with a track record of leadership and innovation
- Strong understanding of academic policies, procedures, and accreditation standards
Preferred:
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in a relevant field
- Experience in program development, assessment, and accreditation processes
- Demonstrated ability to mentor faculty and support professional development initiatives
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in academic management systems and digital tools for curriculum development and assessment
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation to inform decision-making and strategic planning
