Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Academic Director who is passionate about educational excellence and has a proven track record of academic leadership. In this role, you will collaborate closely with faculty and administration to enhance curriculum design, implement innovative teaching strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across academic programs.
Responsibilities
- Support the Academic Director in the development and implementation of academic policies and programs that align with institutional goals.
- Coordinate curriculum development processes, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and industry best practices.
- Lead faculty training sessions and workshops to promote innovative teaching methodologies and enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Analyze academic performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and develop actionable strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Facilitate faculty meetings and discussions to encourage collaboration and share best practices.
- Assist in the recruitment, evaluation, and professional development of faculty members, fostering a supportive and impactful academic environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an academic leadership role, with a track record of improving educational outcomes.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
- Proven ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions to drive academic success.
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Education or a related field.
- Experience in program accreditation processes.
- Knowledge of current trends in education technology and distance learning.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
