We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Tax to lead our global tax function at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and regulations, advising leadership on their impact and potential strategies

Required Qualifications
- JD or equivalent degree, along with a CPA or relevant tax certification
- 10+ years of progressive experience in tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and international tax compliance, planning, and advisory
- Demonstrated experience managing complex tax structures and compliance in a multinational corporation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and their implications
- Proven track record of leading successful tax audits and negotiations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a publicly traded company or large multinational organization
- Advanced knowledge of tax software and ERP systems
- Experience with M&A transactions and related tax due diligence
- Strong network within the tax community and experience engaging with external advisors
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in tax compliance software and financial modeling tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques to enhance tax reporting and compliance
