Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Program Manager to oversee and enhance our Sexual Assault Services program. This role is integral in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services that empower survivors and promote healing. You will lead efforts in program development, community engagement, and the strategic implementation of policies that support survivors and their families.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive program strategies that meet the needs of sexual assault survivors and align with organizational goals.
- Conduct community outreach and build strong partnerships with local organizations, law enforcement, and healthcare providers to enhance service delivery and resource accessibility.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data collection and analysis, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Provide leadership in training and support for staff and volunteers to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver effective services.
- Advocate for policy changes at the local and state levels that improve the response to sexual assault and support survivor rights.
- Facilitate support groups and workshops for survivors, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in program management, particularly in social services, advocacy, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and sexual assault response protocols.
- Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working directly with survivors of sexual violence.
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising efforts to support program sustainability.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for program evaluation.
- Experience with project management software to track progress and outcomes.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
- Empathy and sensitivity towards individuals impacted by trauma.
