Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Program Manager to lead our AIDS services initiatives. This role is integral in developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that address the needs of individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. As a Program Manager, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government entities, to enhance access to care and improve health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive program strategies that align with the organization's mission to improve AIDS services and outcomes for affected populations.
- Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to funding guidelines.
- Facilitate partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to expand service delivery and outreach efforts.
- Monitor program performance through data analysis, reporting on key metrics, and implementing improvements based on findings.
- Lead training and capacity-building initiatives for staff and partners to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.
- Advocate for policy changes that support the needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and work to reduce stigma in healthcare settings.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in healthcare or social services settings.
- Strong understanding of HIV/AIDS issues, including prevention, treatment, and care services.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, as well as experience with grant writing and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and mobilize stakeholders effectively.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in public health, social work, or a related field.
- Experience working with marginalized communities and understanding of cultural competency in service delivery.
- Familiarity with data management systems and evaluation methodologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in project management software and data analysis tools.
- Experience with reporting tools to track program outcomes and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of health information systems and electronic health records.
