Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SAS Data Analytics Manager to lead our data analytics initiatives, leveraging SAS technologies to drive impactful insights and data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts and ensuring the successful execution of analytics projects that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in analytics practices
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency
- Oversee the design and execution of complex analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Utilize SAS programming to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, translating findings into actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and create comprehensive analytics solutions that drive business performance
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on SAS technologies
- Proven track record of successfully managing analytics teams and projects
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques
- Experience with SQL and data manipulation in relational databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Advanced proficiency in SAS programming and analytics tools
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling techniques
