Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations at our retail location. This role is critical in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales performance, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability
- Lead and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high operational standards
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment and loss prevention strategies
- Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve service delivery
- Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in retail management or a similar role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
Preferred:
- Experience in inventory management and visual merchandising
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and retail management software
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with retail management systems and tools
