Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Valid veterinary technician license (LVT, RVT, or CVT) in the applicable state.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, procedures, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a specialty or emergency veterinary practice.
- Certification in veterinary technology management or leadership.
- Proficient in using veterinary software and electronic medical records.
