Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Maintain detailed records of interviews and applicant information in compliance with confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with social service agencies and community organizations to facilitate access to additional support services for applicants.
- Conduct follow-up interviews as necessary to gather additional information or clarify applicant needs.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay informed about housing policies, regulations, and best practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in social work, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in interview techniques and a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in public housing, social services, or a related area.
- Familiarity with local housing policies and regulations.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Experience with case management systems and data entry.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports as needed.
