Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Housing Manager to lead our initiatives in providing safe and affordable housing solutions to our communities. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of public housing programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance housing services and resident engagement
- Coordinate with local agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders to promote housing initiatives
- Manage budgets, funding applications, and financial reporting to ensure sustainable program operations
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of housing programs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide guidance and support to staff in handling resident inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in public housing management or a related field
- Strong understanding of housing regulations, funding mechanisms, and community development principles
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead teams effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making processes
Preferred Qualifications
