Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Public Health Social Work to lead our initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. This role is critical in developing and implementing innovative public health strategies, fostering community engagement, and enhancing service delivery across various populations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective integration of social work practices within public health frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of public health programs that address social determinants of health and improve access to services for underserved populations.

- Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to align public health initiatives with community needs and policy frameworks.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field with a focus on public health.
- 5+ years of experience in public health or social work, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong understanding of public health principles and social work ethics.
- Proven track record in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Preferred:
- Licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW) or equivalent.
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the complexities of health disparities.
- Demonstrated ability to secure funding and manage grants effectively.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in data analysis tools and public health informatics.
- Experience with community health assessments and program evaluation methods.
