Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Assistant Prosecutor to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the justice process, handling a variety of criminal cases and ensuring that justice is served through diligent prosecution and advocacy. Responsibilities
- Prepare and prosecute cases in court, presenting evidence and arguments effectively to secure convictions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies to gather evidence and build strong cases.
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and appeals, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Engage with victims and witnesses, providing support and guidance throughout the legal process.
- Participate in plea negotiations and make recommendations for sentencing.
- Stay updated on legal precedents and changes in the law to inform case strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
