Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Control Supervisor to join our operations team. In this role, you will oversee the production scheduling and inventory control processes, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and meet quality standards. You will play a crucial role in optimizing production workflows while leading a dedicated team to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards
- Develop and implement production plans that optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime
- Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain to streamline operations
- Lead and mentor a team of production control specialists to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials
- Implement best practices for production control methodologies and technologies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in production control or manufacturing operations
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of production scheduling software and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive process improvements
Preferred:
- Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
- Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle

- Experience with production planning and scheduling software
