Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and optimization of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards. You will work closely with senior technicians and engineers to gain hands-on experience while contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring and documentation of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the execution of process experiments and data collection for analysis.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in troubleshooting process issues, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of equipment used in the manufacturing processes.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of process parameters and results.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Familiarity with equipment calibration and maintenance procedures.
